Threaded Inserts are designed for casting into concrete and providing fixing points for the attachment of structural members and ancillary fittings to be bolted directly to the concrete structure. Reid™ supply a range of threaded inserts from M10 to M24 in zinc, hot dipped galvanized, and 316 stainless steel finishes.

Metric Nail Plates
It is recommended to use Reid™ nail plates where possible. In addition to a nail plate function of holding a fitting in the mould and keeping the thread cavity clear of concrete, the depression of a nail plate provides a physical shear key that improves the service load / deflection performance between concrete cast against it.
