Because Reidbar is ductile and can accept both tensile and shear loads, it makes it an ideal anchor for jumper forms without the risk of expected shear failure. The Reidbar thread is robust and resistant to damage and it can be cut and joined along any point in its length. The threaded reinforcing bar can be tensioned, released and re-tensioned with ease and offcuts can be reused on site for starter bars resulting in less wastage.
