Because ReidBar™ is ductile and can accept both tensile and shear loads, it makes it an ideal anchor for jumper forms without the risk of expected shear failure. The ReidBar™ thread is robust and resistant to damage and it can be cut and joined along any point in its length. The threaded reinforcing bar can be tensioned, released and re-tensioned with ease and offcuts can be reused on site for starter bars resulting in less wastage.
