Flexus - The new patented 'Bendable Concrete' from Reid

Reid Construction Systems has been a major innovator in the construction industry over the past 25 years and now brings a major technological leap using "bendable concrete".

Flexus, a fibre-reinforced engineered cementitious composite (ECC), provides the structural integrity of reinforced concrete but without the weight or thickness.

The new design medium has unique properties such as ductility and improved durability, however its most important feature is its ability to strain harden under tensile or flexural loads.

Flexus can be sprayed or poured to produce a multitude of products for the construction industry.  These include Flexus Floor, SwiftTile & Flexus Stairs.

For more information on the Flexus™ range, visit our website www.flexus.co.nz.

Seismic Shotbond

The latest case study from Flexus is Wintec, Hamilton, an unreinforced masonry building sprayed with Shotbond, without requiring any other processes or products.

Case Study - Wintec

You are now able to watch spraying of our Flexus Seismic Shotbond System on YouTube as per the link below. The project Wintec, Hamilton was constructed by Mainzeal and engineering designed by AECOM.
