About Reids

Over the past 20 years Reids have led way in the civil and commercial construction through the development of lifting, reinforcing and fastening systems of concrete elements as well as being instrumental in the development of safety standards in the New Zealand industry.  Reids have had a pivotal role in many of New Zealands major concrete construction projects, including Ericsson Stadium, Auckland motorway extensions and the Manapouri Dam project.

The Reids product range covers three broad categories: Reidbar, Concrete Lifting Systems and Construction Fasters.

Reidbar is a Grade 500E threaded reinforcing system with a specialist range of components that ensures strong structural connections between panels and increases the ability to stress structures using reinforcing.

The Reids range of Concrete Lifting Systems started with the original Swiftlift range of anchors and has been extended to include a range of edgelifting anchors as well as flat anchors so that lifting in all applications can be acheived.

Reids have a large range of technical and product literature and a toll free line for engineering advice to support their product range.

Reids are also applying the knowledge and expertise they have acquired from being involved in some of New Zealands largest construction projects have to domestic situations by creating the high quality, comfortable, sustainable Nirvana® housing system.  Once again this is supported with literature explaining each step in the process when building in concrete.
